We stayed here for 3 nights over last weekend of August. It's a small butique hotel with family run feel to it. Very remote so perfect if you looking for silence, empty landskapes and beautiful night sky. Great beaches and fishing villages nearby accessible by car. The area gets vey hot in the summer, hotel has a lovely pool but rooms only fans no airconditioning. Rooms are spacious and clean hoever with little patios - even standard double - the superior doubles which we did not get in the end have better views. The buffet breakfast as well as dinner and honesty bar are all excellent quality. We would go again.
No airconditioning in rooms, no bathtubs (only showers), we booked superior double but ended up in standard double due to overbooking

External rooms with view of Alahambra were well worth the money
Internal room with no view was claustrophic, tiny and not worth the money

This posh retreat had the most amazing gourmet food, I felt like a queen! I also enjoyed the massages and donkey encounters. So peaceful!
Oh, I wish they had a rusty old lawn chair for me to sit on. So disappointing!

The beauty of the place, it's location in the desert, the wise and kind owner, the attention to detail, the pool, the peace, the space, the sun and warmth.

The hotel's decoration is simply charming, with its whitewashed buildings that protect against the elements and its traditional style. It truly captures the essence of the region. The general areas of the hotel are spacious and inviting, offering plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with well-maintained paths and ramps that made it easy for me to move around without any difficulties. It was a pleasure to experience such a peaceful and serene atmosphere during my stay.
I would have loved to see more activities or entertainment options specifically catered towards senior guests. While the staff members were helpful and friendly, it would have been nice to have organized activities or excursions that were tailored to our age group.

The outdoor space at this hotel was stunning, with plenty of secluded spots to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The gardens were well-maintained and filled with lovely stone sculptures, water features, and cacti. The traditional Spanish architecture of the property added to its charm, with iron works on the windows and tile floors in the courtyards. the breakfast provided was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The price of our stay seemed a bit high for the time of year. Despite the tranquil location, we were disappointed to find that many of the facilities could not be enjoyed due to the cold weather and high winds.

The room was absolutely charming, with a touch of traditional Spain that made me feel like I was part of a beautiful story.
Personally, I found the sound of the fountains in the courtyards a bit too loud for my liking.
